I don't know what is going on in the 145/155 vacuum Conor created. My take is its Aldo emerging as the guy who will fight anybody. He wanted to fight Max and now he wanted to fight Khabib.

Good for him. I like this Aldo.

There's BS involved in both divisions at the top level now. Ducking.

Aldo seems ready to fight anyone.

He was ready to fight Conor too, any time, anywhere, title or no title. Alas...

He wanted to fight Max, but Max preferred to go to Disneyland. Then he asked for Khabib, who also refused to fight him. Hard to find a fight these days.

It's too soon meng. You're gonna rustle McGregger fangirls who are still salty over their mancrush taking a long-ass vacation and getting stripped as a result.

Aldo has never once turned down a fight or ducked a fighter.

    That's his coaches job..

Both divisions are a shit show right now. And this multiple weight division shit is only going to make it worse. It now seems pretty obvious why only BJ was allowed to go after a second belt before.

Aldo was not allowed to do it. Dana killed the Silva vs GSP superfight, after Silva vs Maia.

I'm not sure if anything I'm hearing anymore is fact.

I'm hearing two stories to every bit of shit, or controversy going on with these two divisions, now. And both sides are saying completely opposite things. Someone is fucking lying. And Dana is almost always lying.

I'd prefer to see each champ stick to one division, and defend their fucking belts. You know... Like it's always fucking been.

History tells us Aldo will pull out of more fights than just about anyone else

If Aldo had balls he would have moved up in weight years ago instead of eating up midgets who gave him run for his money

Conor comes along knocks him out cold
Gets the belt goes up a weight class wins the belt .

I think Aldo talks too much he just got gifted the belt after Beating a guy he already beat .

Conor > Aldo any day of the week

Rematch Aldo gets kod inside first round

From what I gather Aldo was ready to fight Max...then some BS. Then Aldo was ready to fight Khabib...then some BS.

Where the hell are we at with these 2 divisions?

Aldo vs. Conor for super unification/ re-champ?

I guess we'll have to see what he does when the fight is booked and gets close to fight night.

Nah. Aldo talks a good game, but when it comes time to sign the agreement or show up on fight night he's all excuses.

He's trying to emulate his idol, that's all. "I'm retired!" like Conor. "I'll fight anyone, anywhere at any weight!" like Conor.

It's only hard because he was jockeying for specific fights. The Max fight was there if he really wanted. He snubbed him hoping for the McGregor or Pettis fights to materialize instead. And you know, that's fair, but when that didn't happen he all of a sudden jumped at the Holloway fight at a conveniently inopportune time. So yeah, he wanted to fight Max at his discretion when the options were drastically narrowed down for him.
