So now Dana White is back to being against TRT today?

At first he was against it saying TRT was for former juicers.

Then he says he's all for it when Vitor was KO'ing guys.

Now that the NSAC has banned it, he says: " I applaud the NSAC. TRT needed to go away."

Dana being Dana?

He has said he always hates it but can't do anything about it, it's up to the commissions, his never changed his stance on it.

Yeah, he is following the Mitt Romney school of public speaking

There was a time he seemed okay with it, but then became totally against it later and did the whole if you're on TRT we are going to test the shit out of you.

But for a brief period he seemed fine with it and then later played it off as if he was saying well it's Nevada's thing and I can't change that so it is what it is.

I know the new thing is to try to hate on everything Dana says, but ya this is the truth.

He was just saying he wished they would get rid of it in one of the recent scrums. All ive seen him do is back Vitor for going by the rules.

He wants the UFC to be perceived as a legitimate organization. His opinion now shouldn't be that shocking.

'We have the gold standard of testing in all of sports'.

He doesn't really care lol

This. When he was "for" it, it was only begrudgingly, as it's the commissions who ultimately determine what is or isn't legal.

I'm no huge Dana White fan, btw, but those of you whose instant reaction is to join in by drinking the "Haterade" flavor of the month are doing yourself a disservice by being irrationally biased, rather than evaluating news and events on a case by case basis using facts and reason. It's easy to join in hate, hard to stand for truth and reason.

He was praising TRT, calling it a great way for older fighters to lengthen their careers, right up until Belfort finished Bisping, and suddenly he hated it.

I wouldn't be surprised if Dana were on it.

You say this as if he had some sort of ethical issue with the usage of TRT. He was convincingly pro-TRT around the time of Sonnen vs Silva 2 and it's aftermath right up until Vitor finished his favorite euro fighter Bisping. It's all about money.

Here's the thing about TRT. It's absolutely 100% legal. As sports medicine continues to advance, this is one of those things where every guy's testosterone level starts to drop as they get older and this is basically sports science now where they can bring it back up to a normal level. And I think it's great, it's absolutely fair, it's legal. The problem is, there are guys who say if this much is good THIS MUCh must be great, so you have guys who are always trying to do more than they're supposed to do. The big job is policing it, making sure that it's not being abused, that guys are using it the way it's supposed to be used.

5-6 months before Bisping/Belfort.

To be fair he's always been hot-cold on the subject but he didn't become truly against trt until that fight

He didn't mind TRT but he found out that a/some fighter(s) were abusing TRT and cycling down - that's when he said we're gonna test the shit out of fighters on it.
