Aldo said that a LW fight was offered for an interim title and the fighter's father said that it wasn't a good fight for him.

Khabib is the only LW fighter that gets trained by his father.

Khabib scared of that takedown defense. Giving him Tibau flashbacks.

    ***Update***

Khabib ducking Aldo 100% confirmed. #Nurmachickenov

Aldo does have really good TDD. I'm shocked the fight was offered to Aldo in the first place.

Aldo 49-46 and Khabib knows it. Best TDD in MMA history.

His dad, on the other hand, advised him to refuse a fight with Jose.

I really doubt that Khabib turned down an interim title fight.

This whole clusterfuck sounds to me like Dana is lying to all the fighters involved.

Aldo allready got beat by conor,Khabib is one win away from a title shot. Aldo has nothing to offer. Hes that tiny guy moving up with nothing to offer someone as high on the totem pole as Khabib.

If it was such easy work, there would be just no reason to refuse the fight. From what we know he'll have to take a fight before being granted a title shot and his choice was between Ferguson and Aldo.

actually makes total sense. Holloway says he's injured. Ferguson won't fight unless the UFC gives him a raise. So now you have Aldo and Khabib with no opponents and they're trying to set them up to fight for interim LW. Both fighters have bigger feuds with Mcgregor than Holloway and Ferguson. Great future fight for Mcgregor.

Aldo could have just said that "the fighter declined" but the fact that Aldo actually gave a detail "fighter's FATHER doesn't want him to fight" makes this more factual. Can't be a lie with that detail especially since Khabib is the only one trained by his father.

i never said it was easy work, its just obviously more valuable to fight Ferguson. Hes on the long win streak, and hasnt lost to Conor already.

"big deal i starched that bum in 13 secondsat 145 where he belongs, get on my level! yknow i think ill just fight woodley instead till this bum division gets its shit together" - Conor

really.. some kid who has never been champ in his life and has been fighting mediocre competition is more dangerous than the p4p #1 unbeaten 10 year nearly longest win streak and title defense in the toughest deepest division. o_O

Why would it more valuable to fight Ferguson? It would be a fight for an interim belt, it would be literally the most valuable fight he could get.

It doesn't make sense though. Why would Aldo be offered an interim LW title fight when Dana already knows damn well that Conor won't fight him?
