So.. just rewatched Conor Diaz 1

    First round was pretty close, but Conor had the edge. Second round, nate was getting his game on, but Conor wasn't out of it. I don't think he actually did panic wrestle. He wasn't badly hurt at the time. It looks like he simply wasn't ready for a brawl and tried to change it up. Twas a dumb move of course, but maybe the motive isn't what everyone thinks it is.

    Nate hurt him on his feet and Conor did the stanky leg a bit after he realized this was a different beast he became a wrestler and got strangled!

    I never thought he was on the verge of getting KO'ed in the first fight either. He was exhausted and Nate was winning the stand-up, so he tried to weather the storm a bit so as not to let too much accumlative damage pile up (there were still three rounds to go and no signs of Diaz going out from any of his punches.)

    He took more punches in the second fight and a hard-ass elbow to the face and yet never went out, so...
