Thats weird, sure the guy was a little full of himself, and there was a huge trend going with threads dedicated to him daily, but from that to invade the forums?

Is hard to believe, he didn't seem like the kind that would do something like that.

The mods/admins aren't really saying much at the moment. I expect they'll need a few days to sort things out and decide what to do.

I hardly ever posted in the OT, but I used to lurk there a lot because some of the posters were really funny guys.

It's just a pity that the childish 'scat bomb' posters seem to have taken a few of the funny good posters down with them. Obviously, not being a mod, I don't know the whole story. So my opinions could easily be wrong. But I would be very surprised if certain people who were banned had anything to do with the 'scat bombings'. It just doesn't seem like their style.

Anyway, as I said, I don't really know. I'm just guessing really. I just find it sad that a few idiots who decided to post 'scat porn' have managed to mess up the enjoyment of a lot of innocent posters.

Ah well, such is life. But I hope the OT isn't gone forever. I wouldn't know what to do at work if it wasn't for Sherdog and the OT. lol.

I made a suggestion once that you should have to be here for 30 days with a couple of posts during those 30 days, before you can start a thread. Also, make it so those under 30 days can only make 10 posts per day. Between 30-90 days you can only start one thread per day.

This has been said many a time, but for ONCE it sounds like it may be right.

Things were getting out of hand. I think it was a lot of gimmicks and guys who had been previously banned who were posting all that crap. Hopefully this whole thing blows over in a few weeks and we can resume with the usual OT antics.
I like the ideas about limiting what white belts can do. No images, limited amount of posts per day and not being allowed to start threads sound good to me.
