Frankie Edgar or Mendes fighting Conor would be like this?

Is good Zuffa is protecting Conor against wrestlers. Edgar or Mendes would bury the irish 3 meters under the octagon.

Holy fuck that transition to the double leg in the first gif. Mendes is seriously one of the most explosive guys in the sport.

If Hominick was able to take down Aldo repeatedly, imagine what Mendes and Edgar would do to him.

..and was down for all 5 seconds combined.
I doubt TDD was even in Conor's mindset.

Look at how stationary Mendes' opponents are. Look at how clueless Guida is in those exchanges. Do you really see Conor the same way? Are we supposed to pretend that Conor's reflexes, sprawl and uppercut are not a problem for Mendes if he lunges in looping punches completely off balance?

McGregor's ass never touched the ground for the first takdown. It did for the second but Conor was back up in less than a second.

Siver also took Cub down and got on top of him like Edgar did.

Man i love watching Conor fight, but we all know Siver is not an elite fighter and now Conor gonna have to swim with the sharks aldo, edgar and mendes. I give him the benefit of the doubt though.

Any gifts on these supposed Siver takedowns would be appreciated. I don't remember them happening.

Conor has great footwork on the 8, it will never be easy to take him down, TDD is much about how you move.

For a takedown to be an actual takedown, top control must be obtained. Those were NOT takedowns. Another troll thread. Siver tried on multiple occassions for a takedown, he only came close once, but Conor was up immediately. Again, he was not taken down,... NOT ONCE........

It's another one of those unknowns does Conor even know how to fight when he's the one being backed up or does he only know how to fight when he's the one pressuring forward.

Mendes would have a pretty big reach disadvantage but he's not afraid to bulldog his way in which would stop Conor's kicking game and then he'll also shoot in when Conor over commits to really any of his favorite attacks.

Frankie would simply outclass him all around imo. Would literally look like Frankie vs Cub if not worse..

But it is what it is Mendes was beaten twice, Frankie got UD'd, Cub showed he wasn't ready and has been beaten before. McGregor with his mouth is literally the only challenge.

Oh man. Siver vs Mendes was such a war. I was trying to pull it up to watch again, but having trouble. Can you tell me where I can watch it?
