It seems like Leon is ready to fight and is pretty high up in the rankings now...in the top 5

I think the most logical matchup is Woodley

Woodley appears ready and wants to fight Usman...but to get that, he would basically have to sit out until after Colby/Usman, and even after that, and while that strategy worked for Stipe, it may not work for Woodley

However, if Woodley beats Edwards in a potential #1 contender fight...possibly on the same card as Usman/Colby, he has a more legit claim at the next title shot, especially if Colby wins

Woodley was going to fight Lawler before Colby did...so why not fight Edwards who is just as high ranked

It also seems like the winner of Masvidal vs Diaz might want to fight McGregor or focus on money fights over title fights, which takes them out of the picture for a while

Till is going up to MW, so hes out
Lawler is coming off (2) losses, so that would be a step back for Edwards...and Lawler should get an easier fight like Mike Perry or Neil Magny

The only other options are Ponz and Wonderboy...but in reality, these (2) should be fighting each other soon...and give RDA a winnable fight, like Chiesa or Askren if he beats Maia

bellator no matter who wins and who loses

Can't believe a striker can be so boring, fuck you Leon and fuck the gym you train in

Could fight back stage. Only with someone else instead of Masvidal again.

Woodley seems like the only option

Or wait for the title shot Dana won't give you

Woodley, maybe pick up the pieces and fight Wonderboy or Pettis. Both good fights name wise.

A title shot when Colby or Usman fuck up the fight they're supposed to have like they have multiple times in the past

^Colby and Usman^

Woodley in a number one contender fight.

Who's to say that Masvidal will even accept the fight with Diaz? Diaz wouldn't be an easy opponent for him and he might think sitting on the sidelines instead of winning another fight will earn him a title shot easier...

Maybe they try booking Nate vs Edwards instead (yea, I know Nate wouldn't take it, but...)

Diaz is the money fight for him

Especially after Diaz openly called him out post fight speech and they zoomed in on Masvidal

Both of them are at their peak popularity

He could possibly make more money fighting Diaz then fighting for a title

Edwards is a much more risky fight because no one knows who Edwards is

There really isn’t a fight for him. Woodley I guess. Could be a title eliminator. But yeah Leon is the real loser in this situation. He’s very good but he’s dull as can be.

Wasn't there a deal with a lifetime Free Popeye's chicken, drinks included ?

Yeah probably Woodley, and hopefully "The Choosing One" accepts that fight. But if he wants to waste away his prime that's up to him.

Woodley makes sense.

Tyron does not deserve a rematch with Usman after getting dominated like that. And Leon deserves a big fight if not a TS
