He wanted money. He got more money than he could ever spend.
He has had a career that 99.9% of fighters can only dream of.
He doesn't own anything to the UFC outside of his contractual obligations, and he has the greatest UFC contract ever inked.
I doubt he cares how Sherdoggers view him.

He sold more tickets than ever.
He is partially responsible for the $4.4 B Price.
So business goes down a bit.
It will still be better than it most likely would have been if the whole Conor phenomenon hadn't happened.
I think you need to look at the bigger picture.
