    Well, I started taking it for about a week now, it seems to be working. Its helping me see results with having a good diet, and hitting the gym, when before i was stuck and busting my ass doing the gym / eating right.

    Now, my question is. Everyone told me the ECA would give me jitters, i've felt nothing. I can take the stack, and go to sleep an hour later no problem. is it bad that i dont really feel any effect? just curious.

    i take the following 3 times a day
    E = 24mg
    C = 200mg
    A = 81mg

    You can take it and sleep, but just like taking caffeine alone and sleeping many times the quality of the sleep suffers while the quantity doesnt. Many people can drink coffee or something and go to sleep afterwards.

    Payne, how big are you? I'm a big guy and I've yet to find a energy drink, energy supplement, or anything else that gives me the jitters short of trying to OD on caffeine or ephedrine. But I would listen to anaconda. Just because you can sleep that soon after taking it doesn't make it a good idea to take it that shortly before bed.

    Will, I would recommend holding off on the ECA stack for a while. Payne has been working at it and hit a sticking point. You're just starting off, so I'd say to work at it for a while without the ECA first.

    Agreed

    If you start off training and hit the 'enhancers' (be it ba, creatine, eca whatever) you'll have the mental weakness from the get go and you'll be looking for the next big thing all the time.

    I'm 5 ft 11 and about 185 lbs. 30mg of ephedrine and 300 ish mg of caffeine gets me jittery for about a week after that I don't feel it

    I'm about 5'11, 250lbs. i was 320lbs, lost weight down to 230lbs. put on muscle and got up to 260lbs, now im going back down trying to lose my gut. my arms, and legs are solid, just that one problem area i've pretty much been working on for a year now with no results. But i never get jitters from anything i've had, energy drinks, hydroxycut, eca...

    That's what I figured. Good job on the loss too btw. Don't worry about it not giving you the jitters, that's not a bad thing. Use it for a little while and see if it's working for you. Don't get crazy with it cause you can't feel the jitters, that doesn't mean it's not working. Only time can tell that.
    Again, good job. Good luck & keep it up!

    Try taking up to 5mg per kg of bodyweight...so probably about 550-600mg of caffeine.....before workouts....you'll freaking feel it.....your perceived fatigue will be much lower so your conditioning will improve a lot and you'll have more strength for endurance strength training or even max effort lifting...however there's a pretty significant rebound adrenal effect afterwards....something to do in the morning but def not at night...

    most energy drinks have 100 or so mg of caffeine....200mg is a cup of strong coffee...

    you also build tolerance to caffeine so definitely cycle usage...

    Regarding the adrenal rebound.

    If you took a large dose of caffeine in the morning would you feel the rebound at night or the following morning (just trying to work if it kicks in during rest or from time).

    I think the half-life of caffeine in the body is about 3-4 hours (read is someplace, but I don't have a source, maybe wikipedia). That is in a normal healthy person, though. I'd imagine you'll feel somewhat of a "rebound" 3-8 hours after taking it, regardless of the dose.

    Which I guess explains why after ~8PM when I cut myself off from caffeine, I'm usually ready to go to sleep by about midnight.

    I try not to drink coffee after 4-5 because of not wanting to stay up. Didn't think if I feel more tired after say 5 hours
