I don't like PEGIDA nor their supporters, but I welcome any challenge to the Merkel open-arm politic, which has flooded this country with more than 1 million migrants in a year.
I couln't believe my eyes when I saw the PEGIDA banner from afar, walking to the Sendlinger Tor metro station in downtown Munich last saturday. Outside of Saxony, most public appearances of PEGIDA have been cancelled due to mobs of anti-facist protesters.
What I witnessed was pretty weird. The PEGIDA kiosk and its members (with the usual flyers, party pencils, pins, etc.) were blocked and protected by metal fences. Police forces were present. Anti-facist protesters were screaming insults to the PEGIDA members and nobody from the surrounding crowd was daring to approach the kiosk and to interact with the PEGIDA members.
At some point, as I was walking next to the kiosk, one of these anti-facist punks (they look like punks) screamed at me "watch out, these are nazis in a cage, don't get too close". Now I wasn't planning to interact with the PEGIDA people, as I never take part in these political rallies. But I'll have to admit that I wouldn't have dared to go talk to them due to the ambiant tension.
This anecdote just fits in the bigger picture : just how much the public debate is democratically censored in Germany. Call it the oligarchy/globalists/multiculturalists/etc., these people are absolutely controlling the debate.
The game is rigged. Be it on TV, in the newspapers, websites, social media or in the streets, you will be intimidated if you speak against mass-immigration. Either by thugs on the street, like I witnessed, or by perfectly recommendable politicians or commentators on TV.
What I find ridiculous is that these anti-facist thugs actually completely play the game of the establishment without even realising it.
