About 75 minutes in total.
10 min warm up. Shrimps, front rolls, back rolls, side rolls, that stuff. I was pretty comfortable with that since I did a bit of judo and wrestling in middle and high school. I am a fan of the UFC, and researched jiu jitsu moves online to get a better understanding of what I was seeing in the cage, but have never been part of a class till today.
Drilled the armbar, triangle, and an americana I think from the high diamond.
Rolled with 4 different people. Got beat down every time, and tapped out several times.
Super fun, exciting, and a great workout. Can't wait for the next class on Thursday.
Also, need to get a gi, any recommendations for a beginner? Don't know the differences between the brands and their reputation on the bjj scene.
