Now that he's "retired" how long do you think Conner's lavish spending habits catches up to him and forces him to come crawling back to Dana? Any predictions?

After he loses the belt. Whether he loses it in a fight or its vacated.

i actually respect the fact that conor has managed to make some money out of fighting, cos a lot of the time it seems like a bums game

if he managed to squander all that money thatd be pretty fucking sad if you ask me

dude will figure out other ways to make money - but yea he def needs to check himself a bit

the world has heard that story before, many times sadly

He only had three real big paydays(Mendes, Aldo, and Nate), his fight with Poirier was the third fight on a MM PPV, the Brandao fight was on Fight Pass and his Siver fight was on FS1, Conor might have made 7 figures for the Siver fight but I'm not sure how much he made for Brandao and Poirier considering he was still largely unproven at the time.

Add that in with his spending habits and he'll have no choice but to come back.

He's not retired and he won't go broke. Even if he was retired he wouldn't go broke. The frivolous money spending act is just that, part of his act. McGreggor is a smart dude, he isn't knuckle-dragging tarded like his fanbase. He is going to be able to exploit their tardation for profit for years to come.

^^^^^^Guys like this fucking idiot right here thinks that he "got rich" off like three fights and he's a millionaire. I had to add this guys comment to the dirty dozen, not trolling.....just pointing out stupidity.

If you don't know him personally, please do not be so presumptuous. It is really not a good look.

Where's the vinegar ?

Vinegar strokes? Right here. But to stick to topic, as much as I hate to say this, I think he just changed the game. After hearing the responses to quite a bit of fighters agreeing with more fighting, less puppet work, who am I to say Conor's wrong? I'm more about the fighters than I am about the company. So if they want to do less media tours and focus more on training, I could care less what they say building up to the fight. I'd rather have two well-prepared fighters than two fighters talking shit back and forth. Starts to get too Jerry Springer-ish for my taste with the Aldo/McGruber tour. Just wanted to see them both focus fully on camp and rip eachothers' heads off.

yeah man. i just mean to say that as much as i hate conor, it wld be good to see a fighter do well out of all this. cant seem to be done. ronda made a pile but look at her now...man

Does anyone else know the thread is guaranteed going to be a steaming pile of stupid if the TS cant spell the fighter's name correctly? Just like the ones that had the most stupid to spout off about Rhonda, the same can be said for Connor/Conner/Conar/Connar.

Yeh but you have to understand the new fans it brings in and general interest just off of the press conferences etc but i dont think its unreasonable for Conor to ask to have more training focused build up over media obligations

I don't think he is as dumb with his money as people think, reckon he is smarter than your Tysons, Iverssons when it comes to money. Just because he likes to splash a bit doesn't mean he will run through it all, if I was in his position I'd be doing the same thing, put a certain amount aside but splash hand have fun with some of it too.
