So how does it feel having no Rogan?

Jimmy Smith made it a seamless transition. I had no idea Rogan wasn’t there. And I’m a Joe Rogan fan. Go Jimmy!! My new favorite announcer. What do you guys think?

Rogan is great, and so is Jimmy.

Smith will make a great replacement when Joe hangs em up.

Jimmy Smith is generic as fuck, like a soulless clone of Rogan.
Aniks voice was cancer as usual

I usually find Anik annoying but for some reason him with Jimmy made sense.

I really like Jimmy so I can’t agree there, but Anik is just what you said. Uhhhhh

He's a lot like Rogan, he's good.

That was Jimmy making Anik sound good. I think most commentators will sound pretty good with Jimmy. I’m on the wagon. This was the first event I didn’t miss Rogan.

Never liked him and it's quite obvious from his commentary that Joe never stepped into the octagon. It's why Dom Cruz disagrees with him half of the time where Goldberg just couldn't.

For all I care they could leave him out completely, but he's quite popular with murican bros.

It was awesome not having to hear Rogan talking about Yoel being gassed after a minute.

I don't agree. I think he knows the game and a fair bit about fighting, but he's not as funny as Joe, or as knowledgeable. And the interplay between Joe and Mike was priceless, they clearly got along great but Joe was never afraid to call Mike out on his fairly frequent faux pas.

Solid performance. Joe and Jimmy are virtually identical.

UFC fighters aren't as good at being on the microphone and expressing themselves. Non fighters aren't as knowledgeable. It's hard to have the best of both.

Today's (I'm in Asia, so it's today for me) commentators really sucked. They offered absolutely no insight or excitement at all. I missed not only Rogan, but pretty much everyone else who has ever commentated a UFC event, to be honest.

I've always been a huge jimmy smith fan when he was at bellator. great well-rounded and positive commentary and attitude. He's really good with fans as well; responded back to me a few times on twitter with timely and detailed responses. great addition for the ufc.
