    How very odd...

Zuffa refuses Khabib then pair Conor with a striker....
One that is 2-3, including the guy Dana claims is top 15 and declining......

How can you criticize McGregor's win over Mendes as being due to short notice if you want Khabib in?

Do you agree that Khabib is ducking Ferguson if he said he couldn't fight Ferguson in early March, but is down for Conor? Is Khabib ducking fighters for favourable match ups?

Is Edgar lying about an injury?

Diaz is 2-3 in his last 5. I said that I was not interested because of that but the fight is in fact fun, will have a lot of crazy action in the weigh ins and the stare before the fight.

But yeah Cerrone would be better. Khabib has to fight Ferguson first.

One has a fight booked one doesn't

    It's not rocket appliances

This is the second time Conor has accepted an opponent change on VERY short notice something he isn't obligated to do

Some people just love to hate I guess

Firstly, it's not even for a title, so what does it matter if it's not the number one contender? Secondly it's at 170. Thirdly, Khabib has been out of action for 2 years and the casual audience have no idea who he is. Four, people want to see Nate vs. Conor.

    Stop being a jackass.

khabib is already training for ferguson where as chad was completely out of shape

ufc had cerrone/pettis as options and opted for the worst of all of them.

Again, get it through your thick skull:

Khabib not only has a fight booked for April, but it's FUCKING IN APRIL because he complained he wasn't in good enough health yet to fight in March -- so they had to push it. Live with it. Embrace it.

So now McGregor is ducking Cerrone, Pettis and Khabib? Is he also ducking Wonderboy since the fight is at Welterweight?

And just so we're clear, you think Khabib is trying to duck Ferguson for favourable match ups?

Diaz isn't a "striker"; he has 18 wins and the grand majority of them are via submission.

It just would have been so perfect to have Conor vs Cowboy @ 155 IMO, Cowboy was down and said he would make weight as always FFS!

The only reason why that hasn't happened I believe is because the UFC are scared they might lose the RDA/Conor payoff @ 155.
Fair enough but it kinda sucks when you know there is a potentially better fight out there with beef and the guy is down to step in on short notice as usual.

Uhh......Conor picked the easiest fight. He could have fought Cerrone who is ACTUALLY in shape but instead chose Diaz who can't even make 155.

is nate even in the top 10? Lol...common son

I believe Dana said it was just khabibs manager trolling everyone. If I'm not mistaken it's Ali (not even gonna try to spell his name) former wsof matchmaker.

Conor is contracted to fight RDA for a title. It's a risky fight, but he considered it to be worth the reward.

Khabib is a risky fight (perhaps equally risky as the RDA fight), but without the reward of the belt.

Conor is not obliged to fight at all but is stepping up to save the card. He doesn't need to be defended for that.

As for Zuffa, they have no power to make Conor fight anyone besides RDA. He has all the power in this situation and if they want him to fight they need to give him his due.
