If Al ain't fighting for the title. Max wouldn't have been anyway if he weighed in over. Bless up.
 
I don't think Max would have taken the fight without being able to win the belt. It's too much risk for him with no upside.
 
A "once in a lifetime opportunity" thrown by the window by a 145lbs champ who couldn't do 155lbs ... Even on short notice I don't care, fighters should stay relativly close to their weighclass.

Well apparently they told him to stop and ruled him out, I don't think he was given any options. Also Dana thought he could still get a title fight in Pettis at the time. However I'm happy they are letting Al fight, he was the best option.

Everything I have read points to Holloway being willing to do it if it came down to that. And that it was NYSAC who removed him entirely based on some medical reasoning, based on how he looked.
