I would expect that much of Blork's willingness to let Askren go is due to his hopes that Lima would become champ.

That said, I would not expect Bellator to let go of Lima easily. Hopefully there is no matching clause in his contract.

The matching clause is in every contract. I'm pretty sure the UFC has a similar clause, they just never exercise it. They don't need to keep any fighters.
