TJ is amongst the most complete fighters in the game.

I don't blame MM one bit.

Two reasons:

1. He knows it will never happen and he's trying to look tough.

2. If, by some miracle, it did happen, he'd be in for a tremendous payday - much more than he would get from fighting TJ - and his fan base would naturally increase from being in such a high profile fight.

He would do what Josh Thompson did to nate diaz. No thanks.

Floyd has nothing to gain and isn't stupid enough to change sports and expect to be good at it. Also he retired like 4 years ago. How long till people start calling out Tyson?

Good shout. DJ v Tyson. I'd watch that!

Floyd will make him millions of bucks fighting him. TJ wouldn't. Plain and simple.

Why would he not suggest this fight? I bet Cormier would consider cutting his legs off to make weight for that payday, not that Floyd is ever coming to mma.

I think MM should move up and challenge TJ for his belt instead. Everyone is shitting on MM but seem to think TJ is a hero for calling out a dude in the weight class below him. If people liked mouse then they would say TJ is not proving anything unless he is moving up to fight the bigger man.

Sherdog is all about who is loved and hated when it comes to passing judgment on decisions fighters make. I think they will make the mouse vs snake fight anyway once they reach an agreement. I am not aware of him turning down the fight recently so why is this coming around again?

Last I heard, Dana says it is next.

TJ is telling MM to man up, so why doesn't he man up and challenge Max? Not that I give a shit either way. I would like to see snake and mouse but I just find it funny how the double standards work around here.

Err, what?

DJ murks him, ground or not, in the octogon. It wouldn't even be fair, ffs

How are you looking past the potential pay discrepancy between the two match ups?

Just looking to bash the guy right?

DJ can no longer use that BS excuse of sticking to the rankings because he cares so much about the integrity of the sport and being fair to his division. This proves that was all BS so he could avoid fighting TJ and avoid an actual challenging title defense before breaking that meaningless record. The second he smelled money he said F the integrity of the sport, F his division rankings and tries to grab it like everyone else. DJ is a phony who wants to avoid fights that fans actually want to see. This is a big reason why he is not popular. The kicker is that TJ wanted to fight DJ at his own weight of 125 also. I could understand DJ avoiding TJ if he was being asked to move up.

Well....not going to lie....but that's a match up i'd love to see
