At the press conference Conor said nate didn't accept the fight at 155 and nate said he did, conor turns to dana and as did he accept the fight? Dana gives a nervous smug look at nate and nate says ''the very first day you called me did i not accept it at 155? say i didn't, say i didn't.'' and the only thing dana did was continue with that ''oh shit im getting showed up right now'' look and didn't answer the question even tho conor and nate were begging him to answer it. Why the hell does he lie about the stupidest things? lmao

and since some of you don't seem to understand i'm not saying conor lied i'm saying dana played both sides of the field and told each fighter what they wanted to hear.

more like nate lied

He lies about the 'stupidest things' so it builds the aura and belief in a star to get people making threads and talking and hyping things for him.

Dana laughing and looking at him was basically saying " Will I tell them you lied or will you?" Lol Nate clearly lied. Was never making 155 who the fuck really thinks he was making that in a week?

Look up Nate's latest interview with Megan. It will become clear. According to him the UFC called him up and he agreed to fight at 155 but they could not agree on the money. So he said whatever and the next day they called him again. He knew they were desperate and said now things have changed and i won't make the weight no more. I'm not having a full camp so i shouldn't have to cut either. Basically it was good hustling by Diaz and good on him.

It appeared to me that he didn't want to expose Nate.

It's not stupid its really intelligent.

If Conor happens to lose, he lost at Welterweight. So he can still justify giving Conor the shot at the lightweight title, since he didn't lose at lightweight.

It's more surprising when Dana tells the truth. Still waiting for that moment.

why would dana lie about that when Conor was already preparing to fight at 155? Diaz not being able to make the weight is understandable and more believable

How do you gather that when nate was clearly saying ''i didn't tell you that the first day you called, answer the question answer the question. ''

This. This is the plan and everyone should see that.

Nate pretty much admitted it himself... The first time they called he agreed to 155 lbs. Then when they got back to him he wanted it at a higher weight because of the short notice. McGregor eventually told him to get comfortable at 170.

So he accepted 155 and then he wanted it to be higher than that.

Yeah, the firsy day they called he said he would do 155, then when they called back to confirm he was getting the fight he wanted it at a higher weight...

Finally a clear concise statement that isn't biased and actually has merit and mentions a source. I applaud you good Sir.

Shit, I missed the press conference? When was this?

Yep, neither denied nor confirmed what Nate was saying.

In my opinion, Nate was telling the truth. This is why McGregor was so on edge and ultimately cracked at the end, as his ego would not allow him to admit declining the fight at 155.

Nate did say when they kept playing around saying he's in and he's out that's when he said fuck the weight cut that's never been debated nate said that numerous times.
