Great wins for TJ. But in typical Sherdog fashion- Cody suddenly was never that good. Why the GOAT talk? We all know Cruz dominated for way longer, and actually beat TJ.

I don't like Dillashaw, but he probably has a stronger case than Cruz at this point, namely because he defeated more high ranked Bantamweights, while several of Cruz' victories were against Flyweights.

Because we have a UFC absolutely FILLED to the brim with barnyard animals. Little ones, big ones, horny ones, sleepy ones, ones you cant see and ones you cant get to shut up. So many baby goats and they need SOOOO much attention.

Winning ANY big fight on a UFC card makes you 'The best ever' at something

He has a case in this one though. Dont forget what a fighter Barao was,

Dom and TJ almost have the exact same amount of BW titles. Cruz barely fought because of his injuries.
Their careers are definitely very close. Worth the conversation.

Mouse and Benavidez are better than some of the guys TJ beat.

Dom also beat up bigger guys; Faber 2x.

TJ and Cruz' accomplishments are fairly similar, Cruz held the title longer but also has been out on injuries for long periods of time(while holding the title). They are close when it comes to best bantamweight talks, when they fight again that will be defining for me. I still think their first fight could have easily gone either way.

We can nitpick records all day but I believe that most people would agree that he is the most talented BW ever, and currently in his prime. For my money I'm picking TJ over any version of any BW ever right now.

Garbrandt, Assuncao and Barao were all great wins. At the time Barao has like what 7 straight UFC wins and TJ beat him. If we're talking about UFC only I'd put TJ's wins above Cruz.

Did you forget that before beating the # 1 contender Cody 2X, he beat the Champion Barao 2X who had won 30+ consecutive fights and had not lost in 10 years. Barao was coming off a 1st rd. KO of Faber before TJ KOed him. He also beat Lineker and Assuncao, both top 5 guys. I would say TJ and Cruz are close when discussing 135 GOAT status.

Faber has spent twice as much time at Bantamweight than he did at Featherweight. And I determine GOATs of divisions based on what's been accomplished in said divisions (which is why I don't consider BJ Penn as the LW GOAT).

Of Cruz' 12 wins at Bantamweight, 50% of those wins were against Flyweights.

Dom's win streak (13) is the exact same length as MM's win streak, it was just spread out across two different orgs, but it was pretty much all top 5-10 guys. If all 13 of those fights took place in the UFC, and didn't have long layoffs, people would be making arguments for him being the overall GOAT. TJ's longest win streak is 4.

There is no comparison. Cruz in terms of career accomplishments is miles ahead of TJ.

It's just an opinion who is GOAT, bud. Just like you can have the opinion that he won his fight with Cruz.

Rogan is just mad that Dominick continuously sons him and exposes him as the fool he is. Rogan jumps GOATs more often that Dana White does women. Very sensitive!

To be honest, his fight with Cruz was even. Plus he finished Cody twice - the man who schooled Cruz (for whatever reasons).

Tj also beat Barao twice, Assuncao (yes twice), Lineker and had a very close fight with Cruz many thought he won.

Tj also finishes people, Cruz struggles to finish a fight camp nowadays.
