Wipe out most of the hw division other than the top 4 guys, Werdum, Cain, JDS, Stipe.

Humble is the last man to defeat AA and since AA is on a heater right now that should make AJ stock climb.

I think AJ matches up great with most of the hw fighters out of the top 4 maybe even could beat Stipe.

What do you guys think or am I all wrong on this one?

I think Viktor Pesta, Alexey Oleinik and Ruslam Magomedov would win against him

I wouldn't quite go that far. I think Arlovski was just a good matchup for him at HW.

Rumble is big, quick, hits hard, and is the most dangerous striker at 205 bar none. He definitely has a chance at HW. His style would work in that division.

I think JDS is his best matchup. Rumble will have a speed advantage and he can hurt anyone when he connects. Relative to the 4 guys you've listed, Rumble will have to worry the least about winding up on the ground with JDS. Cain and Stipe have the wrestling ability and size advantages to drag him to the mat while Werdum will be pulling guard and flopping the moment Rumble gets close.

I think Rumble would have a fair chance against JDS and maybe Stipe. I see Werdum and Cain beating him.

Rumble may be the best 1st round fighter in MMA. He has a shot against any of the top four if he can land a huge shot in the 1st and finish it.

I don't favour him against the grapplers at HW, but I think current zombie JDS would be a great match up for him. JDS's striking defence has looked terrible recently and so has his movement.

i don't think he'd beat Rothwell, Alexey Oliynyk, Barnett, Roy Nelson, or Hunt.

it's also difficult to pick him against Struve and Browne because of how gigantic they are compared to anyone he's ever faced.

I don't agree with your logic but I'd favor Rumble over everyone other than Cain, JDS, and I guess Werdum.

Rumble at 230 pounds is no joke.

He is a pretty big LHW but he looked pretty undersized at HW when he fought Arlovski. That may work against him.

    i agree, i think he'd easily be top 5.

even at HW, i just can't see rumble getting knocked out.
