So, anybody else have that feeling that something fishy is about to go down this Saturday?

Last ufc event or two hasn't had a controversial decision, and these things can be almost predicted like earthquakes and natural dizasters lol. Statistically we are due for a shady/dubious/corrupt decision soon. Perhaps even this Saturday.

Which fight if it goes the distance do you think will get fixed or tampered and blamed on bad judging?

Usually they try to not do it for main events since it draws too much bad press, but if the fighter is too marketable or the circumstance too profitable to let pass, they will put the fix in. Shogun vs machida, and many others, the most recent one being yoel vs Whittaker serve as examples.

So which fight this Saturday if you had to guess might be tampered with?

I don't know

when one of the fighters has his whisky label on the canvas I don't expect fair play

Once Khabob grabs money bags and it goes to ground, Dana will ear piece for the power to go off. Fight is no contest, no rematch.

Tony vs Pettis

Therese always that 30-27 judge thats not even watching the fight

Tony vs Pettis
Yea me too. Who is worth more as champ for the ufc is what we should be asking ourselves. Probably Tony but will have to see the Vegas odds that night to be sure.

That's another factor in all this that rings an alarm in my mind, that this is taking place in Vegas. They have an airtight control of the "procedure" in Vegas. Isn't that where we've already seen shady decisions before?

Is Adelaide Byrd gonna be one of the judges? Is herb dean gonna ref? All important pertinent questions.

Time to take notice, put on the old investigator cap, and follow the paper trail of money and interests. Pretty sure some dumb shit is going down. 100%

Pettis / Ferg seems like one of those cursed fights to me.

Or Ferg v. Khabib.

Adelaide Byrd, is a complete disgrace. Any fight she is judging is damaged goods in my opinion.

I was so pissed when Shogun Machida happened cause it was the first fight I ever bet on, I was a huge Shogun fan (still am) and thought he was absolutely robbed after watching it live and with the odds what they were felt like I was personally robbed too.

I actually rewatched the fight not that long ago though and it was nowhere near the robbery I thought it was and based on the criteria of the time I can see a case being made either way as well as a case for a draw. It was a great fight and a much closer fight then we all seem to remember.

Right on I get ya, From what I remember though it was completely a stand up fight so it was easier to score, shogun got way more kicks in, landed the more significant blows if I recall correctly and up til that point nobody ever outstruck machida so it was impressionable. I just remember thinking how the hell can someone lose a straight kickboxing match by out striking the other and landing the cleaner harder shots.

Well I guess we got what we wanted in the rematch.

Yeah we did.

Machida got out struck by volume but mainly just because of leg kicks (I know, those were Shogun leg kicks so definitely unpleasant)

He landed huge straights and body shots that I didn't remember seeing the first time. He didn't attack as much as Shogun but everytime he lunged in he landed and he landed hard. Really great fight though dude, worth a second look when you are bored and have some time.

Conor is gonna try and cheat to gain an advantage cause he's scared to lose EVERYTHING and will eventually get caught and then make an excuse like something was tainted.

Either that or Dana/UFC tries to poison Khabib so that he performs terribly and helps Conor...

All types of conspiracy shit is going to go down... UFC wants Conor to win...

If khabib gets rocked/wobbled, don't be surprised if herb stops the fight in favor of conor.
