So after his 2 fights, will Fedor eventually sign with the UFC?

Or is this a long shot in the dark?

His deal with that corrupt Japanese business man is only for 2 fights....After that, what then?

Its actually for 1 fight.

I would hope so, but you never know.

Probably not. I think if he planned on fighting in the UFC he would be.

He will NEVER EVER sign with the UFC.

Depends on if he wins or loses I think.

If he wins, he has a lot more leverage with the UFC.

haha Fedor trolling everyone.

Basically Scott Coker, Nobuyuki Sakakibara and Fedor were bullshiting everyone trying to stir up the pot about Fedor coming back to fight when its just going to be some lame fight in Japan.

Give it up guys, it's never going to happen.

Totally agree with you man. There are so many amazing rematches for him in the UFC too. However, Fedor has always been his own man, he is accustomed to calling his own shots. I don't see him and Dana working together in this life time or the next.

I would suggest stop even thinking about it. I was excited about the possibility when it was first announced but it seemed clear fairly early he won't sign with UFC.

Look at Fedor and UFC's history. It is very unlikely he ever signs with them. Meanwhile lets watch whatever fights he will put on. If he eventually signs, we can celebrate.

Millen and Fedor's management clearly used UFC as way to get more money out of Sakakibara.

The deal apparently is written where Fedor fights once and Sakakibara can extend the contract for a 2nd fight if he chooses.

Hopefully Fedor is using this as a warm up but I don't think it's looking good especially with Millen involved. If people thought Vadim was bad, I haven't heard one positive thing about him in MMA.

I have no idea why a guy like Fedor associates himself with such bad characters.

Fedor doesn't want to fight top guys. He wants taxi drivers. The man has his legacy and doesn't want his face rearranged. That is why he's not in the UFC.

this has been going on for years. he keeps surrounding himself with idiots like jerry *gary* millen.

i just do not care anymore.

I was one of the people soooooo excited when I heard he was coming back. Even more excited when I heard rumors of the UFC. But after this, given his age, I don't think we will EVER see him in the UFC which really sucks. I'm just not going to get my hopes up anymore b/c I honestly don't think it will ever happen now. This talk of "1-2 tune up fights".....I don't believe it.

The only redeeming quality in all of this is that for once Dana didn't get his guy and there is nothing he can do about it. Fedor stood up to him and Dana will always regret the fact that he was never able to get the HW GOAT in the UFC. Of course he'll deny it but deep down he'll know the truth. He got CroCop, Nog, Wandy, Shogun, Werdum, Anderson, GSP, Bones, Aldo....ALL the top p4p guys ever but he never got Fedor.
