So a 5'10" Cormier is doing what a roided 6'4" Jones didn't have the balls to do

Growing some balls and moving up to fight the HW champ, actually, the most dominant and constant HW champ ever in the UFC

The reason is simple, Jon Jones is only great against smaller fighters, he looked bad against OSP, he could've lost vs a gatekeeper Gus, fighters who are the same size as him

In the UFC HW Top 10 Volkov is the only one taller than him

Working on the upper body, developing chicken legs to make 205, constantly eye-poking to make sure opponents are afraid to close the distance and taking roids to have performance advantage is what Jon Jones is, one of the most overrated fighters in UFC history

Even Jones admits he likely will never fight at HW.

Wouldn't call him overrated, but his pathological cheating puts a permanent * next to his whole career.

Not Jones's fault, PED's shrink your nads.

Cormier started as heavyweight. fucking stupid thread.

Cormier's in-cage weight is 235+
Jones' was 215

When will you lads learn that height isn't size? Should Max Holloway be fighting Mark Hunt for the Interim Super Heavweight title soon?

But there are people who would tell you with complete sincerity that steroids did not effect the outcome of his fights. I’d imagine those posts are coming very soon.

Cormier explicitly said that Stipe and Ngannou were too big for him

"Man, do you see these guys? Do you see these dudes?? Sometimes I read that stuff and I’m kinda like, I don’t even know what I was thinking back then! So no, I’m not gonna fight Stipe Miocic, or... I’m definitely not fighting Francis Ngannou. No, I’m good."

Then after that fight uncle Dana made an offer he couldn't refuse.

I am sure that with the right money you could get Jones at heavyweight.

A fit Cormier would be competing in WW but he's a great fighter who don't need to take roids or have 20" reach advantage against every opponent he face

C'mon TS Jones isn't much bigger than Mighty Mouse. Let's be real here.

U sound so salty jones beat cormier 2 times and even took him down lmao

I agree with that, and also will state the TRT therapy did nothing for Belfort either.
LOL

Lol you're insane. Cormier's bones alone weigh 170

lol DC would never, eeeeever make WW, or even MW.

dude has always been THICK, he has trouble making 205. (granted that's probably because of his age and years of cutting from wrestling)

Cormier is likely going to get the crap beat out of him. Kudos to him for being willing to take a beating for a huge payday.

Perhaps you should do a bit of research first. The UFC was set to do a huge match, Jones vs. Lesnar. The only reason it didn't happen is because Jones and Lesnar both failed drug tests. Last I checked Lesnar qualifies as a heavyweight.

Second, interesting fact about Jones, did you know he has only fought a single fighter twice in his entire career? Other than Cormier, Jones has fought every top contender in the UFC LHW division.

Kind of like when GSP was going through all the top WW in his first run. People were calling for him to fight Silva but he had plenty of top opponents to fight at WW.

Also Jones has never missed weight in his entire career, in fact hasn't even come close (unlike DC for example).

Never understood the fascination some people have for the need for guys to move up weight classes.

And Jones was planning to do so against Lesnar despite the TS's utter ignorance...
