Tomorrow at 5:30 P.M. Pacific time, my friend and training partner Sam Alvey will be on my show Vidal Information discussing his upcoming fight with Gian Villante.

The video is live on facebook @ www.facebook.com/vidalinformation

Here is the youtube channel for my show.

This is an old episode with James "Lights Out" Toney.

Please enjoy the show and if you wish, ask questions to add to the conversation.

Thank you very much and have a great weekend everyone.

P.S. Yes, I know I need upgrades to my show, I just started it.

If you know of any mods who have experience and would like to help me run my facebook page then please let me know. I want to take this as seriously as possible but until then, this is the show :)

Tell him I think he’s cool AF and I really appreciate his comedic personality, it’s a breath of fresh air in today’s MMA “bad boy scene.”

Will you ask him what the fuck he was thinking taking this fight?

Sam is actually so nice and giving that I stayed away from him. His family is so embracing that literally everyone that has a family or doesnt have a family at our gym can show up to his house and feel like at home. They are the most non hippy hippies I have ever met. Sam is super tough and hits extremely hard despite his kind ways. If ya'll knew him you would want to be around him often.

Just have him come on sherdog and do a Q & A, I bet he won’t be smiling after the first few questions.

If you were a professional athlete and a bunch of random people started asking arrogant questions, then you wouldn't be jumping for joy over it, right?

Thanks for sharing brother.

I wouldn’t waste my time talking to people on a message board or Facebook if I was a professional anything.

Have no idea what he's thinking going up to LHW. Just looking at him, it makes zero sense whatsoever. Maybe he has lead bones underneath the sogginess?

Fighters fight, brother. Don't you like to see fighters try to advance themselves?
Sure I do, but Gian Villante would beat the shit out of anyone Sam has ever fought. It's a bad fight for him.

Sam walks around at 220 sometimes 2-225.

As you age, cutting weight is just not worth it.

If you take a look at some good fighters who dominated lower weight classes, they eventually started failing to the weight cut. Although those fighters aren't very big, they would move up in weight and dominate.

Cowboy, RDS, McGregor, etc.

It's true in boxing too. Roy Jones Jr, Evander Holyfield and James Toney all did it successfully.

It works in reverse for some figthers.

Fighters like Fedor should have went a weight class down as they age because injuries happen and athletic ability fades, so you must compensate.

Fighting is a very adaptive sport, you must change to the certain seasons that you face in order to make the best of your career.
