Every so often, Luke's analysis and opinions really surprise me (in a bad way).

Did he not also recently say that there was NO merit to the argument that PEDs in combat sports is potentially more serious than PEDs in other sports (baseball was the specific example referenced)?

How clueless does one need to be to fail to appreciate the potential harm difference between someone having an unfair advantage in hitting a baseball and having an unfair advantage when trying to cause physical harm or otherwise physically dominate their opponent?

you can argue (weakly, IMHO) against that distinction being 'critical' in the debate on policing PEDs in sports...but to say that the distinction is 'entirely without merit' is rather illogical, IMHO.

I haven't watched this episode, and don't see a time stamp on the vid, but if he now suggests that racism is "inherent" regarding perceptions of black fighters, then he either fails to understand what that word means or (once again) is going overboard by adopting an extreme position.

I hope he says this stuff to stir the pot and stimulate lively debate, which would still be disappointing, because if he really believes what he says...wow.

The others on the panel, and their new guys who make guest appearances, tend to be MUCH better in consistently presenting relatively thoughtful opinions, IMHO.
