After stepping as a replacement opponent at UFC 201, Jorge Masvidal is now in need of a new foe.

MMAjunkie today confirmed with UFC officials that Siyar Bahadurzada has been forced to withdraw from the card due to illness, and the organization is now in search of an opponent for Masvidal.

Neil Magny needs a fight at 202. Jorge needs a fight at 201. Let's make something happen UFC.

Yeah I actually like Masvidal vs Magny. Not where the rankings are concerned but as a replacement it's a very good fight.

Dana never brings good cards to the south. It started out weak but losing MM and now this fight, one I was looking forward to more than most not saying much, and it's doomed.

lol after I typed that I realized Jorge has lost 2 in a row and Neil has won 3 in a row. So it makes no sense. Other than they are welterweights fighting on the next 2 PPVs and each needs an opponent.

At the same time, much of the top 15 of WW is either booked or injured by this point. Only guys like Gunnar and Kelvin are free to take a fight right now.

Magny just beat Gastelum and Lombard so it wouldn't make sense for him to fight Masvidal.

Feel bad for Bahadurzada, he was finally back and now this happens.

Yeah Gunnar was the first I thought of, after his last fight I think he mentioned taking the summer off. Magny/Nelson would be fun. Kelvin would be serviceable but it is a rematch. Not much reason to take that fight for Magny. Other than the fact he takes every fight lol.

Lol the next three cards are garbage. Thats what happens when you put together average cards. They get prisonraped by injuries and stuff then you end up with mediocre cards.
