they are methylated hormones.. in a nutshell when they break down they send your body into overdrive. You liver takes most of the hit, your kidneys go into overtime, and you BP will go up quite a bit as a side effect. Lots of side effects come along with the muscle mass that is gained: lethargy, headaches, back pumps, lethargy, acne, decreased sex drive, and oh ya.. lethargy. If taken longer than recommended, usually 4 weeks or less, you can have a complete hormonal shutdown, not to mention pickling your liver. If anyone ever plans on taking prohormones, a lot of planning and research has to be done first. Make sure you know what you're taking, line up a proper PCT, make sure you have the proper support supps.. have a schedule and be smart about it.
I think a lot of the downfall of steroid use came from the availability and improper use. You've got any Joe Schmoe who wants a quick fix pumping who knows what into their body without knowing what it is or how to use it. It's the few that ruined it for the many.. They can be used safely and effectively. That being said, I've never done steroids, thats just my view.
You've got to make sure you're body is ready for something as strong as some of the compounds that are out now. People think that after one bottle of creatine, they are ready for a bottle of 1-Test-a-Max-a-Drol-a-Methyl. Go natural.. peak your body naturally. THEN maybe think about them if you won't budge your decision..
Be smart with what you put in your body.. the consequences of misuse aren't worth the gains.
