    Werdum does not have much time left as a fighter. And Cain already wasted a few years of Werdum's fighting career.

    Accepting short notice fights when the champ pulls out. Or if you're ( probably ) a win away from getting a shot is not a good idea.

    Werdum apparently agrees with that logic.

    Why should Werdum risk his position? The UFC will probably just give him the rematch against Stipe in the Spring...
