Silva suspended for 12 months. retirement?

lol @ retirement, he's only suspended for 4 more months

1 year for two different types of steroids?

What a joke...

Yes, but he will be subjected to testing once signed and will likely be subject to the random testing anyways once it kicks in

Ok good. Sure we learned his lesson. If he gets caught again he can retire.

he didn't deserve that win over Diaz anyways.

17 days remaining in august
all of september
all of october
all of november
all of december
all of january

= 4 months?

Try over 5 and a half

Plus time elapsed since the fight is taken off. PED enforcement in MMA is a complete joke. No consequences.

if the ban was from the date of the hearing then any fighter would be fucked if the commision jsut happens to not have time for a hearing or if the fighter can't. Dating the ban from the date of the fight is the only thing that makes sense it's from the date of competition in any sport not from the date of the hearing on

considering he only fought like twice a year anyways when he was fighting in his prime this really isn't much of a punishment.

I meant the total time off was a joke. Regardless of how you calculate it. You could apply a 2 year ban starting one year before the fight, however you want to do it, and the point remains the same ... PED punishments are light slaps on the wrist. Also, the fact that the fighters are just blatantly lying to the commissions and the public is routinely ignored.

Getting subbed by a bjj wizard and beat up by two juicers > than going out in a limp donged roided disgrace.

Fedor is GOAT.

He only fights once a year anyways so this is like getting in trouble at school and getting sent home for the weekend

Good!

I like entertaining fighters so we need him back in there before he officially retires.

You find Silva entertaining? Did you not watch his last fight against Diaz? It was complete shit.

Last time Silva was legitimately entertaining was the first fight against Chael.

Even when he got brutally KO'd, and then his leg broken, he wasn't putting up an entertaining fight.

His fights with maia and cote were boring.

Actually I take that back, Silva's fight against Vitor was also entertaining.

You are right, his fights against Maia and Cote were unbearable.

What are the chances of Anderson being caught again? He's likely to cheat again considering that he was willing to juice against Nick Diaz.

LMAO

TRT isn't magic juice that makes you unbeatable. Henderson (who is a 205er) and Bigfoot were both beaten while on TRT.
