10th title defense and beats his arch rival and probably got a fat check not to mention I believe he was 37-38 at the time. I think he started to look slower during weidman 1 and after he beat sonnen the second time I started to call him the goat. Also he barely beat an unmotivated Diaz and lost to old man gate keeper bisping

Most athletes just don't know when to give up look at favre and Kobe for instance

Eh, I think he should've retired after the first Weidman loss. Certainly after the second.

Funny thing is the people who then would have called him out for ducking Weidman would have been laughed at and branded delusional by AS nuthuggers and the majority in general.

Funny how it all worked out in the end...

Every athlete needs to go when they're past their prime for health reasons I'm glad Dana forced Chuck and big nog to go at least it shows that he cares about at least a few fighters

Anderson has declined physically And his style is based on explosive movements and reactions. He doesn't have the skill set that can work once the body slows. Similar to Roy jones in boxing. He has had a hell of a run and deserves his legendary status. Go out with your health and be happy

Hindsight is always 20/20. Just about every great fighter stays in the game too long and ends up going out with a strong of ugly losses. So it's always been and so it will likely always be.

This guy gets it. At that point AS had nothing more to prove and obviously wasn't getting the title back, so there was literally no point to him fighting other than to go out with a win.

If Conor is as smart as he thinks he is, he'll get out before that happens to him.

  13. Kobe should have quit basketball after his 81 point game.

No because then we wouldn't have seen how overrated he actually is

Like I said back then, he should be glad the sf fighters were not in the ufc during his reign

Well I guess the knockout and especially the leg break weren't nice, but I bet those 4 million checks were (I bet AS got at least half a million for his fight today).
