Im not that surprised Bisping got the decision, but why Silva was expecting to win or something just out of a couple hard punches? It was clear he was the only guy in there with power to finish the fight in every minute, but he just didnt do it, its like he lost his drive to fight, i was expecting him to go into kill mode in the 4th after that knee, do you agree?

Ya his high kicks to head were dangerous looking..kept wanting him to explode with body kicks like 1st chael fight..but nothing.

I haven't watched all his post fight interviews or backstage stuff, but if this following question didn't come out of an interviewer's mouth, in some variation or derivative.....

"Anderson, you had him rocked in the 3rd round, some may argue that you 'let him off the hook' in the 4th, and gave him time to recover as you didn't really look to press forward or punish him. Any thoughts on that?"

...then fail.

Who do you think you are?

Yes I agree, let's see Silva vs. Uriah Hall then Silva vs. Belfort/Jacare winner, I think he can beat Jacare but I'm not sure about Belfort there's still some questions about Silvas chin.

From my pov the knee landing woke Silva up. He looked totally different after that. Crisp, good footwork, every strike was dangerous.

You're right though, he definitely seemed to let Micheal off the hook right as he seemed like he could finish the fight at any moment.

Even in the last 10 seconds of r5, he just backed off. Imo he was confused about the score. Somebody in his corner wasn't honest with him. Maybe he was seeing all the damage pile up and figured there was no way he was losing.

I agree totally. Now was this because of him not being interested or Bisping hurting him and nearly knocking him out? Only Anderson knows for sure. I know for sure though he barely attacked in the final 30 seconds when it mattered the most. No way he thought he won up to that point. Maybe sometime during this fight he decided that he doesn't want to try Rockhold. Can't blame him considering he would be wrestled down and beat into oblivion. Like I said Anderson is the only one who knows for sure. Maybe I'm taking too much from Bisping but the way it looked to me knowing what Anderson is capable of, he spared him.

If anything, Bisping was the one who let Silva into the fight, Silva capitalized on his mistake, but if Bisping didn't go full retard he probably woulda won 50-45. I just think you guys don't want to believe Silva could lose to a gatekeeper
