The first fight was a candidate for fight of the year, but why do we need the rematch?

A big main or co-main for UFC 200 should imo have high stakes, alot suspense as to how the fight will play out, and hype/starpower.

This rematch really doesn't have high stakes. The first fight had high stakes in that Conor was undefeated and overhyped, but now that's kinda gone. The suspense is also less because we have a pretty good idea how these two match up now. So imo this match is more about just starpower, which I think sucks.

So why discredit the entire featherweight division and not make some fresh matchups instead?

UFC 197 & 198 are sick-ass cards that should please hardcore/snobby fans of the sport.

UFC 200 is more of a public spectacle, and Conor vs Nate is fitting of such an event.

I don't think UFC 200 is just a public spectacle. It's an opportunity to invest in a milestone and memorable event that will help carry the sport in the long term.

i am super cool with seeing more of nate smacking conor like his bitch. not ok with 3 25 min fights in a row. that could potentially put my ass to sleep if it gets boring lol. make it a 3 rnd fight as opener for ppv and i am ok. "if the 2 title fight rumor is confirmed"

I hope this won't be the main card. For an event like UFC 200 it would be absolutely awful.

Punk-Gall and Mousais-Brunson should be in the prelims.

Cain-Browne should be the first fight of the main card. Conor vs Nate should be the 3rd fight. The co main and main event should be title fights or super fights.

Fuck Conor vs Diaz and make instead Conor vs Edgar/Aldo or even Conor vs RDA.

ahhh. I'd like a champion to get paid as they should if Conor wasn't on the card. If Conor wants the PPV pay, defend his belt.

For UFC 100, the stars aligned in an incredible way. You had the unprecedented Brock hype, GSP fighting at his prime, and Hendo/Bisping which in hindsight turned out to be one of the most memorable fights ever.

Also, keep in mind that no official UFC 200 lineup has been confirmed yet.
