I've read a book on the Shroud. One thing is certain, the image wasn't painted. The author's theory is that the image was produced via neutron radiation, and only appeared on the cloth years after Jesus's resurrection. The 3-D imaging of the Shroud is also unexplainable by naturalistic causes. What do you think?

Just another testament to Allah’s greatness.

Even if it was the cloth that wrapped Jesus, that still doesn't prove it is proof of god. Only proves Jesus existed and this was the shroud that wrapped him.

I think it very unlikely it was the shroud, even though I do believe there did exist a person who fit the description (barring the super-natural claims) of Jesus.

I read a theory, many, many moons ago that said it was the Knight Templar, Jacques de Molay. I believe the author thought the carbon dating lined up better with him than Jesus.

It’s impossible to explain this by natural or human action.

Saying ‘the Creator of the universe did it,’ on the other hand ... clearly that’s a logical explanation. If it makes no sense ... Then it must be God!

God of the gaps

Turtles all the way down

Etc...

A piece of cloth that is no older than the 1300s is proof of Jesus?

I mean, it's only a millennium after his alleged death.
