all on one platform, pretty good deal and competitive with ESPN+

We knew this was coming that is where rumors of Bellator MMA being up for sale came from. Streaming services need cheap shows. Bellator is not cheap, but they do make money, but not enough. Many are thinking the Fedor fight will be a test of their worth.

Subscribing via cable gives me access to Showtime streaming, where sometimes shows are up a day or so earlier, but their movie selection is very limited and takes forever to stroll thru.

I think i read correctly that the Showtime linear channel will remain but it will just be that stupid long unnecessary name lol. As for the Showtime app its getting folded and all the content will move to Paramount+

Yeah I know I'll continue to get Showtime on my tv but I use the Showtime app too so with that folding into Paramount+ will be able to now get that?

The scripted content is 100 times more expensive to make then sports.

Also unlike HBO, Viacom already has a large collection of other sports so I highly doubt it.

Yeah, if anything this is good for viacom combat sports. They're being put on a larger platform that's already trying to bring in sports fans.
