Even if it means him going to Bellator ?

This latest UFC 200 fuckup is too much. I wouldnt be admire , if he suffers a fatal acident somehow.

Billionare KingPin are not ones to be messed with...

The only reason they're not is because they don't want another organisation to inevitably scoop him up and make the UFC LHW division seem illegitimate or second rate. That has to be the only reason. He's too much of a headache to have any other reason for the UFC to keep him.

What do they have to gain from releasing him?

Could everyone stop abbreviating everything it confused me

I thought you were talking about Joanna and I was like what the fuck

Plus they won't release him until they squeezed every last penny of worth out of him.

He may not be the main event or they may be more prepared with back up plans but they will keep him as a draw in some capacity

they should just release JJ and give the belt to gadelha yes. I would approve that move!

My Thoughts also.

fukin jones, screwed up the card basically, that was the most important fight in all of MMA at the moment in my opinion :S

They should release all of WMMA

oh you mean jon jones. No he could spread some word of mouth about UFC in prison.

I thought the same. I was like, "I hate Joanna too but do we really need to release her?"

He is bout to be on the shelf for 2-4 years. The UFC won't have to deal with his shit, just the Albuquerque PD.

trust me, he will be the main event of the next PPV he is in.

the amount of interest surrounding his return in 2 years will be crazy.

dana see's $$$

Yes i release him if i was the UFC. He going to be banned for two years and shown hes not a reliable competitor. Taking PEDS is the last straw. UFC stood by him and he still does not give a crap.

I tell you what, it will be REALLY interesting to see what happens the day he gets a loss. It's not hard to guess that the UFC would send the "We wish you luck in your future endeavors" fax the same day.

Something my old supervisor told me once holds true here. When your bosses need you, you can get away with murder. And it's true. UFC's not letting Jon go anywhere. They will just have 2 backup plans every time they schedule him to fight from now on.

Yes of course they should., he is just drama. time to cut ties with him

There's no need to release him. He's under contract and suspended so it's not like he's getting paid. If the move is to release him then you release him the day his suspension ends and you have to start paying him before and not a day earlier. Kill as much of his drawing power as possible.

Realistically I think they can still make money off of him. When he comes back he'll be a curiosity and his return fight will probably draw. Just keep him away from main events for a bit.
