It's no secret what happened. Not throwing stones. Should he appeal?

Kennedy co-manager Nick Palmisciano told MMAjunkie he plans to appeal the fight’s official result, a third-round TKO for Romero on the main card of Saturday’s UFC 178.
“The guy couldn’t answer the bell,” Palmisciano wrote via text. “And he admitted in the interview he couldn’t get up. Pretty sure that’s a DQ.”
Considering Yoel was ordered to sit there and wait for the neutral cutman to wipe off the extra grease he applied, and they both got an extra 39 seconds, equally......
yes.
If there is some "answer the bell" rule, then yeah. I sure would.
You can't say the ref is supposed to control the situation and leave it at that. The commission oversees the refs, so (again, IF there is protocol here), commission could rule the ref negligent and NC the fight ... maaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaybe
is this what happened? i thought it was water on his body?
I was impressed by both fighters, but more impressed with the one who put his opponent in a position where the ref had to step in.
He's supposed to answer the bell, but the ref has the right to halt the action at any moment. Big John did when the inspector had an issue with applied Vaseline on Romero's eye by the official cutman.
The ref had to step in before what you're talking about though
