I can't imagine the thought of Anderson going out like Rampage, BJ Penn, Liddell or Cro Cop. Think of how painful THAT would be to see. Sometimes guys get flat out too damn old and that is enough of a reason as to why he has pretty much no chance outside a freak puncher's chance against any top 5 MW.
I mean, this is the best way I can think of him to go out, out matching and out hitting someone who was being a particularly outrageous tool. The majority of Diaz's highlights i the fight consisted of him baiting Anderson in obscene ways even for him while his face kept looking more and more like ground beef. I think you couldn't ask for a better way for Anderson to go out.
