Should Romero and Whittaker have a rubber match?

I'm fine with it IF Romero fights another contender first and proves he can still make 185. Whitaker/Gastelum in the meantime.
 
For them to have a rubber match, Yoel would have to win a 3rd fight then a 4th fight to tie the series. 5th would be the rubber match.
 
Yoel needs to make weight first.

lol@ getting a title shot right after missing weight in two consecutive championship fights.
 
Traditionally a "rubber match" is when two fighters are 1-1, and are fighting for a third time.

It would be a third fight, but not a rubber match, as Whittaker won the decision both times.

That said, I scored the fight for Yoel, and would love a rematch. I don't see it happening though.
 
Make Romero have one of those trial weigh ins during sometime next 2-3 months, just to prove he can actually make the weight. Meanwhile have Whitaker defend title against Gastelum. If Romero proves he can still be 185, give him another shot after Kelvin.
 
Gas vs yoel. With yoel actually making weight. If he misses off to lhw. Can't have 2 misses in title fights and get off Scott free regardless of how you performed

Gas gets Whitaker next if no rubber match
 
A rubber match is 1-1, Rob's 2-0 over Yoel. A 3rd will never happen. Yoel is moving to LHW, and Robert beat him twice.

You do know gas stops Whitaker right?

So that means Yoel will fight Whitaker after he loses or gas for the title
 
Na Romero go up to 205 and fight Gus next and then I wanna see Whittaker vs Kelvin next but I bet UFC going to try and squeeze Weedman for one more go

I didn't say Yoel would have to fight Whitaker, I said give him another shot as in another shot at the title
