Should our new UFC overlords axe USADA?

Should the new owners keep USADA or get rid of them?

Should WME-IMG keep on with this USADA Fighting Championship or should we just have an all-steroid league and let the games begin?

Its never going back. If anything they might enhance it.

Absolutely not.

Those who want to see competition in which fighters are juiced to the gills will always have Japan.

War USADA.

I say yes. Are they that strict in the NFL? If not, lower it down to NFL level testing.

Read this yesterday...though it relates to the NFL testing for recreational drugs, I believe:

The question that the Boston Globe’s Ben Volin set out to answer: if every NFL player is regularly tested for marijuana, how was Hernandez able to pass every drug test he took? The probable answer, from talking to agents and former league medical personnel, is mundane: the test is so, so easy to beat, and Hernandez wasn’t a moron about it.

NFL players are tested for recreational drugs once a year, during a window mandated by the collectively bargained substance-abuse policy. That window opens in the spring (this year, coincidentally, it’s on 4/20) and ends early in the preseason. But largely because of the cost of dispatching drug testers, the vast majority of players are tested during training camp, when they’re all in one place. All a player usually needs to do is make sure he pisses clean by the time he reports to camp, and once he’s tested, he can smoke as much as he wants for the next year.

Yeah I'm sure he new owners would love congress to start poking their nose around once they turn a blind eye to PED use.

They can't. If they do, then the UFC loses credibility with the public.

Especially since boxing is stepping up it's testing and even something like the WWE has a testing policy.

As a consumer, I'm not really bothered by the PED stuff. But Average Fan doesn't like it, at least not if they find out about it (that guys are cheating).

cut the suspension times in half and I think its good

They should have the same level as the NBA or NFL. No need to be any more stringent as the UFC gains nothing from it.

I hope all fighters are clean but that isn't the case, nor will it ever be. Put up the same facade as the other leagues and let them fight, IMO.

I don't give a Fuck about PED use, I honestly don't know why anyone cares about it. USADA on the other hand just ruins fights and destroys careers.

Just implement the WWE's drug testing program. Best of both worlds.

I'm all for anything goes but since that's not gonna happen, I'll allow what they currently have. If they ever started testing for recreational drugs out of competition then I say fuck 'em.

How do you not see this from another perspective? Fighters who take PEDs and get caught are ruining their own careers, they have the decision to either take PEDs or to not take them, it's that simple.
If you're a clean fighter and are knowingly competing against a dirty fighter and coming up short, wouldn't you want to even out the playing field? USADA does that for fighters. It's the same reason why Russia is all but banned from the Olympics, this year it gives the sport a bad rep when the sport is filled with dirty fighters.

Only get rid of USADA if they're going to implement these at every training facility

I can't believe how many people basically don't care if the fighters use steroids or not. So if you're an up and coming fighter and want to make it in the UFC, you essentially have to take steroids if you even want to be competitive. Or you just get in there naturally with roided up monsters who are trying to smash your head. Fucking ridiculous.
