He throws the worst flying knee in the game and he throws it in almost every fight now.

I don't know when this guy started thinking of himself as the Dagestani Ong-Bak but he only managed to land one flying knee in his entire career:

In all other cases, this happens:

He put himself in a really bad situation when he tried to follow up his overhand Conor-dropping punch with a flying knee and otherwise just wastes time doing it and looks really bad.

He throws it to close the distance quickly while minimizing the risk of getting hit. It works pretty well.

This, watch when he throws his flying knees, his opponents just shell up and he normally gets the clinch, a takedown or a combo after throwing them. He does not put himself in bad positions when he throws flying knees, he actually benefits from them cause people hesitate while he gets to be offensive.

He nearly took McGs head off with it after he decked him.

Props to Conor for reacting quick enough to move his head off the center-line.

And despite how awkward his striking looks, Khabib is fast as fuck.

Add in the fact that his opponents are already paranoid about the TD, and there is very little danger to him when he throws the knee, lunges forward or does anything else that people were mocking him for before the McGregor fight.

Its a pretty effective distance closer and its hard to counter.

He used it to trap Barboza against the cage then take him down.

He closes distance fast with it.

Aldo lost cause he got old(in fight years) and isn't the fighter he once was.

Ok, ultimately it’s impossible to know exactly what led to his downfall. But the fact remains; most of the time what fighters don’t think is broken, actually is broken, someone picks up in it, and it results in a loss.

You should coach him, TS. He wouldn't keep losing so often if he had you in his corner.

That's not a fact, that's just your unsupported opinion.
