Should I train?

if you have to ask then you should not... i never think about "what if i get hurt" or i may get hurt. you know the obvious risks.. either you want to do it bad enough or not. i love it so would never stop but you have to try it to see i guess

Man, there is nothing like training though. One thing to consider is going to classes and doing some very light and/or controlled sparring. Believe it or not that's what I did for a long time. I had a neck injury from years ago (not to mention fear) and by just hanging in there and continuing to train...I got better. Now, my progress has been a lot slower compared to some...but just going to class will give you an idea of what you can and can't do. Always good to seek out expert attention but if you are careful and not afraid to explain your situation to your training partners you may find them to be really helpful.

It's not perfect but at least you'd be able to get started and see what happens.
