Yesterday was not a good day. Went home from work at 10:00 pm and got caught in a rainstorm. Then, upon getting home I had a major fight with my pregnant wife! Not fun I know but they are getting emotional and pissy. Anyways adding to the stress I realized that telephone bill was twice more than expected and electronic deduction was causing the account to go negative. Went to bed after 1:00 in the morning and woke up at 7:00 am to come to work. Tough day at work with tight deadlines and being stressed and sleep deprived from last night I am trying very hard not to fall asleep.

Question: We all have bad days. Does the above qualify for a day off?

Are you alive, is your wife/baby healthy? If so its not that bad, go train.

As the last guy said, you're alive... Go train.

yes. yes it does. get some rest buddy. i have a pregnant wife at home right now as well. our worlds are all in disarray after a death in the family last week. so our schedules are fucked. do what you want and take some time for what you need.

minus the pregnant fighting that sounds like every day of mine. go train.

Being on the mat helps me forget about social stressors, plus I feel better after physically exercising. I think training would be beneficial, even if you have the "worst" practice...

Do you feel better or worse about things after training?

If training makes you feel good, then this seems like the perfect day to go.

Having a bad day doesn't qualify as an excuse to not train. But I honestly wouldn't train if I felt overly exhausted and sleep deprived. Rest is an important part of training.

Training is a must for me, it's as important as brushing my teeth.

Plus it's pre paid so I'm gonna get my damn monies worth.

Plus you will already know it helps put you in a better frame of mind and helps you sleep like a baby.

It's a no brainer.

Just gt back from the class. I was good at rolling but got drained a bit early. Still it was a good class. I thank everyone for their support and inspiration.

Ossssu

Yep, nothing better for relieving stress. Just realize that this is probably not going to be your best day.

I discovered masturbation at like 10...

How old are you? you could be in a documentary!

came to post this

since BJJ is a thinking mans game , how can you think of any techniques when all that sheet has ben stressing you out?

imo its a recipe for getting hurt, the only reason i say that is because i have attempted to train with stress from work, stress at home and lack of sleep and the results were disasterous. Hyperextended arms, tweaked knees, tweaked ankles etc.

I dont think i have ever trained at 100% healthy and ready , but i refuse to train at only 10% efficiency , its just dumb unless you just go to be rag dolled all night long
