I'm losing mine and I tried growing it out real long. It just unevenly grew in the ok areas, but still showed hair loss in teh bad areas.

I regret not doing anything wild when I did have hair. I always rocked a skin head during my 20's.

If I had a good shaped head, I would keep my hair short. Unfortunately, I don't and I stick with long hair. I definitely feel you on that "feeling like a regular dude" thing though. Chopping the hair is like losing your identity or something.

The worst part about long hair is being confused for a woman from behind. That shit ruins your day.

Also, I agree with the above posters. Get rid of the fedora. Its been stigmatized for being associated with virgins, incels, and neckbeards.
