Should I buy MLB 14: The Show or wait for the new UFC game? (PS4)

MLB the show is great, if you like baseball it's by far the best.

Show on PS4 is basically a port...same gameplay sinc e2010...it is good but not a necessity if you played MLB before...

I never played The Show till this installment, definitely better then any 2K baseball I've played.

The gameplay for EA UFC looks bad, but I also hate baseball, so I'd pick neither. I also have a fucking gigantic backlog of games across many platforms including PC, so I also wouldn't be worried about having something to play on PS4--which I don't have.

Sorry to be absolutely no help, lol.

MLB14 is a great game, and has been well rated on most reviews. It is as said, just a graphical upgrade though. But if you don't have it on PS3 then that is hardly an issue.

Good game, definitely get it if you like the franchise.

I think it depends on the type of player you are. If you are an offline franchise type player like me then you might be able to wait for it to drop in price. If you play online then you should pick it up soon.

I play offline and am not a huge baseball fan. This game will likely last me a few years.

You sound poor

Or maybe he just smart?

I can easily afford the $900 or so to buy fast food everyday... doesn't mean I should when I could make my own breakfast, lunch and supper, saving myself $700 a month.

I was just kidding, really. Thought the poor comment was a running joke on sherdog.

Also, your analogy is pretty whacked. Comparing saving $700 a month to saving 60 bucks is a bit of a stretch.

If you want both games, but you really need to save that $50, then maybe don't buy any games at all?

or maybe you could give the man advice on which game to get :(

Fuck 'em both, get Pokemon.

Fuck yeah.

Honestly, it depends on what you would get more out of.

Have you played EA Sports MMA or other baseball games before?

If you've never played the show...sure. It's pretty cool for a sports game.

If you have played the show...no. Feels like a shitty rushed port and not like a next gen game.

Honestly, I would wait for The Show to drop in price exponentially, as all sports games do within a month or two, then wait a month after the UFC game comes to see if it's worth it through reviews from the sherbros.
