I'm a bit worried that the card will look nothing like it does now by the time the event rolls along. Weidman is coming off knee surgery, the fight already got moved back once. Who's to say it wont happen again? the card could lose it's main event

Vitor has yet to get licensed in Neveda and that may never happen. The fight with Chael might be squashed as well.

Ronda vs Exlesis Davis may be the new main event by July

You're right. It's why I will never buy tickets early or plan a trip around an mma event again

Vitor / Chael probably won't happen.

The weight class it's at isn't even released, and Vitor has to get cleared.

If you've bought tickets, then yes you should be worried.

    If you haven't, who cares?

If Weidman can't fight, give Machida his belt by default. He has been eligible to fight for awhile now.

He doesn't need to whip Shogun or Davis, he's fighting at 185 now, they fight at 205

I hope this card wont fall apart.

It has all the potential in the world but indeed there are a lot of big question marks.

I think Weidman will fight there but not at 100%.

    Vitor vs Chael....its 50/50...what a clusterfuck.

If you don't fight, you relinquish the belt. Weidman is doomed either way

Realistically, unless Weidman doesn't hurt his knee in the next 2-2.5 weeks, he should be fine. Right now is gonna be the most physically stressful point of the camp.

why would he have to go back to his old weight class to have the chance to fight Weidman?

I think it's almost certain Weidman is going to come into the fight injured. That's just way too quick of a turn around. I don't think he'll pull out and just fight hurt.

Vitor may not even get licensed so that fight definitely has a chance of falling out as well.

That's why PPV > live event in my opinion. Cheaper, better view and if the card goes to crap I didn't purchase the PPV months in advance.

yes this card could go to crap real fast. The first thing I thought of when Ronda the ppv queen was added to the co main event.
