Not to say he’ll leave but as he’s basically three in the hole with two being absolutely brutal KO’s, don’t you think he’d benefit from a step down in competition. Same goes for other guys on losing streaks who are basically one away from being cut.

PS: This is mainly for Gastelum fans.

If they give him a couple of easier fights and he gets creamed, sure. Bellator loves UFC washouts, so they'll welcome him with open arms. Maybe he could become a champ there and we'd see hilarious posts about how he's the best LHW in the world, it happened with Bader.

It isn't all bad at Bellator

Just don't give him a fighter that has a first name that starts with the letter J.

Jones it was argued or close. But, Jan and Jiri were KO's however, he was doing good in the fight but got caught. Too early to cut him, just, he needs some rest and tune up fight to hopefully reset.

It only makes sense to jump to Bellator if you have a well established name and no path to a UFC title.

Reyes doesn't quite have the drawing power to attract a good offer from Bellator. He's also only 31, and 2 of his last 3 losses have of have been against champions (if you even consider the Jones fight a loss).

Reyes is still in the top 5, so he can take a fight from rank 6-10 and still keep his name in the title picture.

Jan never KO'd Reyes. Why the fuck does this narrative continue on?

Never goes out and is blocking the ground and pound.

Reyes also actually KO'd Jiri with the upkick, so technically, he should have won the fight vs Jiri.

Just give him someone 7-12 in the rankings
he needs to be built back up

Yeah I think that could be a good alternative. I don't see him ever getting the strap and he has taken way too much damage lately. And if he fights more top 5 opponents he is just going to get more damaged. He really needs a step down in competition.

Bellator has a decent light heavyweight division. He should go to ONE FC if he wants the easy money in their middleweight division.

This is how crazy the cherry-picking matchmaking has fans thinking, just because he lost to the champ and a future champ his career is done..? UFC is breeding fairweather boxing style fans by acting like you have to have to be undefeated to be good.

Nah this is just a fair assesement of Reyes as a fighter right now.
He has suffered some career changing losses and it has to be tough for him both mentaly and physicaly.
He needs lesser competition right now. Wether its in Bellator or UFC, doesn't matter.

but jiri did recover in like one second where as reyes did not

Nah. Reyes is still top tier. He just got the rough matchmaking. It's stupid how many people discredit him and act like he's some kind of chump now. Basically, he should have won against Johnny Boi, he lost fair and square to Jan, and had pretty competitive fight with Jiri where he even flash KO'ed him but ref didn't notice. He just needs to fight now someone who doesn't pack a big punch, lol.

PS: Bellator Brigade will come at you in a minute for that title. You didn't know that Bellator has the best 205 division?!?!??!?!

Reyes isn't one away from getting cut

he's losing to top 10 guys and he's exciting

If he loses his 4th fight in a row and it isn't competitive he could be. 4 on the spin is "relegation form", I'd day if he DOES lose his next fight at 205 and they don't cut him, he drops back to 185.
