After that brutal KO it's hard to see what he has left.
He had enough left to KO Shogun.
what ko? are you watching fight night with vitor? advanced merry christmas, my friend. i predict on his next bout he will bounce back and knockout shogun. take that to the bank.
He is a MW getting wrestlefucked by a HW world-class wrestler. This would happen anytime in his career.
this was a bad fight for the UFC to make and a worse fight for Dan to accept. The fact that nobody in his camp\management\family\circle of friends didn't dissuade him from taking this fight is beyond retardation. He's 1-3 in his last 4 fights and about to be 1-4 in his last 5. He should be fighting other has-beens, not the #2 HW and #LHW in the world.
dc is weak for jones... he is almost a jon fitch with strenght...
jones will kill him
cormier slammed him once then lnp'd him. he never even hurt dan then choked him out.. good win but not impressive at all considering the size advantage i mean he wouldnt even stand with hendo lol
Dan Cormier's just getting started--why would he retire?!
I bet his paycheck says otherwise.
He and Shogun both should have retired after their fight.
I agree, I didn't give much chances for Hendo to win this.
But you know what? Hendo is a true warrior. He fights anyone, at any weight. That's how it is and one should respect that, wise thing to do or not.
Your post is "beyond retardation".
Dan is a true fighter.
True fighters fight anyone.
No matter how big.
No matter how bad.
A true fighter fights who is in his way.
If Dan were to win this fight, he would of got a title shot after Gus.
I'm sorry but if you're a pro fighter and you don't want to win the championship in your division, then why are you even competing? Think about it!
he can fight Cummings, Dan please don't retire.
No, he should get a gimme fight in his next outing, brutally KO him with an H-bomb, THEN retire.
But, based on his post-fight interview tonight, I don't see it happening. Looks like Hendo plans on competing until he's a complete shell of his former self. Even though he's honestly already there.
It was for a title shot. Hendo wanted a title shot.
He should, but he probably won't. It's obvious he won't even be a contender again, so he might take vintage fights to get a big payday and then retire on a W.
But hopefully it's soon, because this sport doesn't need another powerful fall like Liddell had.
