Should Costa try and lose muscle?

I know he has sherdog's favorite physique but in looking at him he seems like has too much inefficient muscle on him, especially since he's primarily a striker. If he was a grappler it would make more sense to have all that extra bulk so he could overpower people but as a striker just seems to make him slower and messes with his cardio. I think with less muscle he might actually be able to get more snap on his punches and get more knockouts as well.

His striking isn't good enough for it to even matter. Against the elite of the elite strikers, he'll always lose. If he lost muscle, he might lose power in order to get slightly better cardio. He should probably try to become better at BJJ and Wrestling. Use his size to overpower and take people down and submit them. If he sticks with striking, he'll stay where he's at.

Arguable. His power is his one elite attribute. He's not particularly good at anything else. If he loses muscle, he risks losing some of the power that will allow him to finish most MW's. His striking isn't gonna magically improve to the point where he can compete with Izzy if he loses muscle.
