Come on now.... They cant be serious with this rematch

Its really Ultimate Fighting Conorships if he gets to still keep his belt after this.

Aldo Vs Frankie and lets move on

I think he should. He's said he doesn't care about the title, so they may as well. If he beats Nate then he can stick around at 155 and fight RDA. If he loses he can fight the winner of Aldo/Edgar for the title he never lost.

I'd like to see Aldo/Edgar again.

If Conmor's next fight is not defending the 145 belt, he should free it up so it gets fought for

Well...Nate was clearly at an advantage with his....lack of a training camp.

Why not give him a FULL CAMP! :D

He should get to fight once every 3 years a fw because he's so damnnn sic.

He's never making 145 again. Ever. Vacate and move on.

Edit: How many of you told me to relax when i made the same thread last week? He vacates, loses 3 more times and goes back to his box of cereal.

He beat the champion in less than 15 seconds, so he can do whatever he wants.

Yes.

They should let Aldo & Frankie fight for it.

Yes, either that or have him defend it at WrestleMania since I see whats going on here now...

Edgar vs Holloway for the vacated belt at UFC 200!

Let Frankie fight Max Holloway in the meantime, problem solved.

If Conor doesn't defend the belt, he should vacate it because he's not competing in Featherweight anymore. Simple as that. He wants to fight in Welterweight again then give the belt up for people who want to fight in that division like Frankie Edgar, who has been after that belt and been looked over for how many years now? If Frankie vs. Conor doesn't happen, then let Frankie vs. Aldo happen for the Belt. And whoever wins, if Conor wants to go back to Featherweight, then he can challenge for the winner of that fight for the belt again.

It depends on who's pushing the fight. Conor losing tossed a wrench into the UFC's plans for 200. I think it's fair to asume they were expecting him to win and face RDA or Robbie. They want to this card to sell big and probably think this rematch is the fight to do it.
They should put Frankie-Aldo2 on the card for the interim belt and the winner gets Conor after 200 if he loses or becomes undisputed if he wins and gets a title shot against RDA.

He won the title in december, 3 months have passed, and you are already talking about vacating. C'mon. He's been fighting pretty regularly, it's not like he fights once a year, and only at WW.

If he loses he might go back to 145 and defend before the end of the year.

Yes he should vacate it anyway so he don't get embarrassed by Frankie Edward because he has now be caught cheating on his GF their is proof of that and rumors which I don't buy unless proved that he is on drugs he just got his ass beat so he might as well get on his fucking knees and washes Frankie's feet as him hands him the belt.................................hahahaha200 (2).gif

ufc 200 is months away, then add the break he will take for the next fight.... it will be almost a year by then...

Every 145 pounder should demand their release because for all intents and purposes their division will have ceased to exist.

I say health first: any fighter that looks like a whyte walker shouldn't be in that weight class. But, people forget Conor has fought two times in 3 months and spoils the shit out of us compared to champs of the past that fought 1x every 1.5-2 years. Also, he bulked up alot and would have to loose all of that in three months and train. This way also, he can have a full camp for Diaz and vice versa and Conor will be planning for 170, not going from 55-70 in a few days.

People should know Conor by now: he does what everyone says he shouldn't/cant. He would fight Jon Jones tomorrow and would actually believe he would win. If he does fight at 145 again, it may be in November at MSG vs someone like Frankie. That way, Conor fights 4 times in a year (as promised) and defends 1x.
