Should McGregor change camps.
I can hear you thinking he loses a fight and people are already saying his camp is shit just like they said about Fedor.
I know he probably wont change camps because he's loyal to his buddies
But it's a serious question, does he get the best training possible in Ireland?
There's better camps out there especially in the USA with better facilities, coaching and sparring partners.
Conor is a good explosive striker but I see a huge gaping hole where his wrestling and bjj should be and I'm not sure Ireland is the place to be to fix those holes.
Even in the striking department there are better coaches across the great pond.

conor should quit while he still has some fans, his confidence don't mean shit to his opponents anymore

He should work on his ground game and takedown defense. His striking coach can stay but he needs to revamp his ground game

he'd have to find the BJJ equivalent of rafael cordeiro to make the necessary improvements to his game at this late stage.

we've seen cordeiro transform striking games enough to manufacture champions, but i don't know if there is a BJJ equivalent to that anywhere - at least one who's shown the same kind of results.

And be a traitor? This would mean Conor has no faith in his Irish people. It would show he has no pride if he did that imo

It's not THAT late, I mean he's only 27. And it is possible to be a champ and have mediocre BJJ - just look at Chuck, I don't think Robbie is a wizard on the ground either. If Conor were to win, the fight shouldn't have went to the ground in the first place.

27 is damn late to invent an entire ground game from scratch.

chuck survived because his TDD was excellent and he had a great ability to jump back up again whenever he got taken down - and conor has neither of those abilities. also chuck's wrestling actually wasn't that bad, he had something of a base.

robbie is squeaking by on decisions, many of which people think he is actually losing. and IMO he's pretty much in the same boat as mcgregor - i'm surprised he hasn't lost that title yet and expect he will soon.

He's a multi millionaire. He doesn't need a camp which is what broke ass MMA fighters need to split up the cost. He can build training around himself and fly in training from around the world.

Conor is a brown belt...

You make a damn good point......I doubt those mind games with work with real fighters.....he still might scare the midgets tho....

Move up 2 weight classes. Gas from not knocking out a heavier guy and all of the sudden everything is wrong. lol

Nate tapped out Jim Miller for christ sake. Nate is high level. Conor is NEVER getting on his level on the ground.

Conor would have knocked out the majority of LW's and WW's in that fight. Diaz brothers just have crazy chins.

Conor should train wrestling because the Diaz brothers will NEVER beat good wrestlers.

He should but after everything he has said he cant without looking like a traitor to Ireland.
He should bring people in to his camp to train with. He can afford it.

Maybe that's something Conor should strive for, he will never be a grappling wizard.
But if he improves his wrestling and tdd he can keep fights standing not that it would of helped him last night though but it probably will in FW.
He also needs to improve his knowledge of bjj so he at least wont get submitted so easily all his losses were by way of subs.
And again not sure Ireland is the place to be to work on those things.

He should cut down on striking and movement training and do BJJ and wrestling almost full time.

I think he should combine camps at least. Take some of his guys with him but use some new trainers and sparring partners also .that way he isn't shitting on anyone and gets the best of both worlds.
It's not too late to get serviceable in his weaker areas but obviously he's not going to be world class in them either.
He should seek out Anderson, that man had shit wrestling and not the best bjj at one time but he's pretty slick in both now.
